About me

I graduated from the University of Georgia this spring with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, a certificate from the Carmical Sports Media Institute (formerly Grady Sports) and a minor in sports management. I've been covering Georgia football for the USA TODAY's UGA Wire for over a year and am the creator, host and producer of the UGA Football Live with J.C. Shelton podcast. I've also recently taken a position with the USA TODAY to run UGA Wire's Instagram account, which caters to over 101 thousand followers. Through my experiences as a writer and specifically video and audio storytelling, I've ignited a passion for creative sports coverage in the digital space.
